| Evolution MotorSports continues to lead the Porsche performance aftermarket with new and innovative products for the 996TT / 997TT. Our latest development is a GT2 specification clutch master and slave cylinder conversion. We originally designed this system for cars using an aftermarket clutch system which typically shortens the clutch engagement point, which reduces drivability. This reduction of engagement would typically hinder the clutch pedal feel and make smooth clutch modulation more difficult. With our system, the pedal effort is slightly increased which provides consistent pedal feedback for a perfectly drivable clutch, even if the engagement point is reduced. Our direct replacement kit eliminates the soft and unresponsive clutch feel of the OEM 996TT and offers more precise clutch modulation. The overall pedal effort is similar to the GT2 or GT3.
