Remus has developed a race inspired exhaust system for the 987 Boxster/Cayman platform. Suitable for both street and track purposes, the system allows for quicker exhaust flow creating marginal (8-12) horse power and torque gains through the low to mid rpm range. This increase in performance of the exhaust come with a great exhaust note that growls under acceleration and enthusiastic driving to create a truly sensational driving experience. The system also weighs 33lbs cutting 8lbs of fat from the rear of the car to give it even better balance.

REMUS RACE exhausts are derived from REMUS' involvement in motorsports racing such as FIA GT2 GT3, Formula 1, Le Mans and various Rally championships around the world. REMUS delivers extensive race knowledge to the streets. Remus Race systems are the optimum in performance for drivers and their machines.

Remus Race systems are priced like their Sport Label exhausts are. There are no cosmetic differences between the two systems. The difference is inside the muffler, the Sport systems utilizes a straight through flow design with a perforated core to meet TUV/EC approval and the Race systems utilize a core with fewer perforations, which reduces backpressure even more allowing for a freer flow and less restriction that increases horsepower and torque. The Race system is not TUV/EC approved and does not meet sound regulations in Europe. The decibel output is slightly higher than the SPORT version the race system provides a deeper tone and at high RPM it just plain screams race.
