OUR PROCESS

Step 1 - Consultation and Assessment

Discuss your performance goals and inspect your vehicle. This helps us understand your specific needs and the current condition of your vehicle to tailor the tuning to your preferences.

Step 2 - Baseline

We perform a diagnostic scan and test your vehicle to establish baseline performance data. This identifies any potential problems and provides a reference point for measuring improvements.

Step 3 - Tuning

We adjust engine parameters like fuel maps, ignition timing, and boost levels using specialized tools and software. These adjustments optimize your engine’s performance to meet your goals.

Step 4 - Performance Testing and Review

We retest your vehicle to ensure the tuning is effective and provide you with a detailed performance report. This confirms that the tuning enhancements are working as intended and allows us to review the results with you.

EVOMSit vs. EVOMSots

The difference between EVOMSit and EVOMSots lies in the tuning environments and focus.

The original EVOMSit, (EVOMS Intelligent Tune) is engineered around precision for maximum power output and for a vehicle focused on high horsepower output near the limits. EVOMSit software combines our superior mechanical expertise with an unequivocal capacity to calibrate the most complex automotive computer electronics.

When you experience an EVOMSit software upgrade for your vehicle, you will begin to realize our world of intelligent tuning, insanely tuned. EVOMSit software calibrations have been tested under the most grueling conditions during dyno simulation in our state-of-the-art AWD dyno cell as well as in real world driving on the street and on the race track. We further scrutinize and refine our software during our eDRIVE independent product validation program to produce unmatched results. Though we build around a safety margin of error, the EVOMSit is designed with the foundations of motorsports.

The EVOMSots is a new line of tune software that we offer that focuses on optimizing overall drivability, throttle response, and fuel mapping, adjusting the car's performance for everyday use, ensuring a smoother, more responsive driving experience.

Both products are designed to provide significant performance improvements, but the choice depends on whether you want a track-ready, high-performance tune (EVOMSit) or an optimized street tune for everyday use (EVOMSots).

TUNING PROCEDURE

Understanding ECU Flashing: Bench Flashing vs. OBD2 Flashing

At Evoms, we’re committed to helping you get the most out of your vehicle’s performance. A key aspect of vehicle tuning and diagnostics involves reprogramming your ECU (Engine Control Unit). Two common methods for this are bench flashing and OBD2 flashing. Here’s a brief guide to help you understand the differences and advantages of each.

What is Bench Flashing?

Bench flashing involves reprogramming your ECU outside of the vehicle. This process requires removing the ECU from your car and connecting it to a specialized programming tool on a workbench.

What is OBD2 Flashing?
OBD2 flashing is a more straightforward method where the ECU remains in the vehicle. We connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD2 port, which is a standard interface found in most vehicles manufactured after 1996.

Which Method is Right for You?
All ECM's require specific protocol methods that require specific procedures for us to safely tune and reach your goals. The choice between bench flashing and OBD2 flashing depends on your specific vehicle needs.

At EVOMS, our team is equipped to handle both methods, ensuring your vehicle gets the optimal performance adjustments it needs. Whether your vehicle requires bench flashing or OBD2 flashing, we’re here to provide expert service and support for your tuning needs.

DYNO vs. STREET

Understanding Dyno Tuning vs. Street Tuning

At EVOMS, we understand that choosing the right tuning method for your vehicle’s ECU (Engine Control Unit) is crucial for achieving the best performance. Two popular approaches are dyno tuning and street/drive tuning. Here’s a concise guide to help you understand the differences and decide which method is best for you.

What is Dyno Tuning?

Dyno tuning involves using a dynamometer (dyno) to measure your vehicle’s performance metrics while it is running on a specialized machine. This controlled environment allows us to fine-tune your ECU based on precise data.

What is Street Tuning?
Street tuning involves adjusting your ECU based on real-world driving conditions. This method utilizes data collected from your vehicle while driving on public roads, offering a more practical perspective of your vehicle’s performance.

Which Method is Right for You?

The choice between dyno tuning and street tuning depends on your goals and preferences. If you’re seeking the most precise performance adjustments and can access a dynamometer, dyno tuning is ideal. For those looking for practical, cost-effective tuning based on real-world driving, street tuning offers a viable alternative.

At EVOMS, we’re here to help you navigate these options and select the best tuning method for your vehicle. Whether you opt for dyno tuning or street tuning, our expert team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results tailored to your driving needs.
