EVOMS Turbocharger Air Inlet Ducts
Evolution MotorSports continues to lead the Porsche performance aftermarket with innovative and high quality products for the 996 Turbo platform with our high flow polyurethane turbo air inlet duct kit. This kit replaces the very restrictive factory aluminum and plastic lower turbo inlet ducts. This restriction causes increased turbo lag and an overall power restriction on higher horsepower engines. Our V-Flow air inlet ducts internal diameter is increased over stock by as much as 60% in certain sections, which allows for more airflow and more power. These are the highest quality inlet ducts on the market, with vastly improved flow and reliability compared to 'flexible' inlet duct kits, and being more adaptable to different turbochargers and installations than aluminum ducts.
**Please note, installation of this kit requires the engine to be removed, and the OEM upper inlet duct 'Y-pipe' to be modified to connect to the new plastic ducts. The cost for this modification is included in the $695 price. To complete this modification, your OEM duct must be removed and shipped to EVOMS for processing; typical turnaround time 3-5 business days. Depending on availability, pre-modified ducts may be available for a $695 core charge. If you would like to modify the duct yourself, guidelines can be provided and the kit sold at a lower cost.
